Our Vision - The Community Board for RPA

Our Vision is a community that serves the school and a school that serves the community. An Academy that is full of local children achieving excellence both academically and vocationally.  A community full of young people who are a credit to the school, the community and themselves and leave as genuine ambassadors for the school and the local area.

Our mission is to support the school in raising the aspirations and expectations for both the students and staff and the wider community as a whole.

Our aims are:

To become a credible, influential, clear voice for the community in the development of Richmond Park Academy.

To support and engage local people to send their children to the Academy.

To fully utilise the skills, time, knowledge, expertise and resources of the community to the support the academic and pastoral pursuits of the students.

To open up the school as a resource for the community, in terms of its buildings, outside space and equipment.

To facilitate the free flow of ideas and activities between the school and the community.

To be an advocate for the school.
